Origins
In 2023, St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church took its first steps toward planting a new congregation.
With a deep commitment to the Great Commission, the St. Paul’s Session encouraged every member to consider how they might take part in the work of church planting in northeast Orlando—committing to “give away their best” so that the kingdom of Christ might be made known.
In 2025, Rev. John Cherne was called to this mission church and relocated to shepherd the beginnings of Christ the King Presbyterian Church. Under the care of St. Paul’s Session and in partnership with the Central Florida Presbytery, this daughter church is being planted with the hope that many will behold God’s glory and come to know His grace.
